Plastered.... Well getting there!

We started the day peering through the windows to try and get a feel for what is going on inside, we were disappointed we couldn’t get up close and personal to look at the warm wrap the internal insulation had given the inside.

Then low and behold the door we thought for sure would be locked was unlocked (it pays to check EVERY door!!!)......the FRONT DOOR.....so in we came through the main threshold of our house to check out more closely the action which had taken place and try and envisage what is going to be the completed product.

Getting to walk around gave us a feel, for the first time on how big or small the rooms are going to be. It is really amazing seeing it coming together and we can’t wait to see all the rooms done. Only once all plaster is done will we have a real perspective on how the house is going to flow.

So we have a big week coming with the rest of the plaster to be finished, hopefully cornices added and weather permitting render to be started....looking at this week’s forecast we are doubtful on the render getting done. The rest of the plaster and cornices sit waiting to go!
