What no battery!!

As we head down for our weekly visit, we also have Lou's Auntie and Uncle who are visiting Melbourne with us.

There is excitement in the car, as we have spoken to Dean this week and have a tentative date, and lots has been done.  Mainly the wood flooring.....


I (Nina) have to admit I do the normal, stop the car, and bolt for the doors on the house, just to see if by any chance some tradie has forgotten to lock the door..... :-( doors locked, bolted, triple locked!!  (which is a good thing I suppose but not when you want to have a sneak peek!).  I also then tried the new sneaky way the garage door (Thanks to Tash and Tristan, love your work) but the internal door was locked.  Whilst I was doing the dash, Lou gets the camera out as normal to take her 100 odd photo's, goes to turn it on...... Doh!  We have forgotten the battery which was recharged ready! Ooopps!

Again today was a visit of looking from the outside in was the only we could see the goings on in the house, the floor has been laid but is covered by a protective covering, but we got a good glimpse of the colour, and i think its going to be ok!!  (let's hope so anyway).  

So we did the outside tour of the house, and Uncle Iain stands in the back garden, and says wow your garden is quite big, when does the garden get finished!?!?!  It doesn't, that's for us to do, that may take a while!

Hence there are no pictures with this posting. But the progress made is going well, getting very excited about moving, but the list of things we have to do before is growing each day!
