It has been two weeks and we are finally back too some form of normality, we hope anyway. Headed down to the house yesterday and we were blown away with the progress. Not sure if we are scared or excited as it suddenly seems to have jumped ahead in leaps and bounds!
So what do we have - decks front porch and back alfresco, flyscreens, door handles, tiling complete, shower screens, toilets, mirrors, sinks and glass splashback! We were so pleased with the progress, it is getting so close and we’re getting nervous about everything we have to do before we move!
What’s next you ask, well for us who are novices at this building lark, we believe flooring and final clean, then driveway??? For the floors we have hardwood floors throughout the entrance and main living area with carpets in all bedrooms.
We are now starting to compile a list of things to ask or clarify about the finishes for when the inspection will be. There are just one or two things we are not 100% sure about however we are sure our SS will put our minds at ease.
