Preparing for the start...

This weekend, we went to the block to prepare for the start, the builders called last week to advise that it will commence on May 10... so we had to ensure the grass/weeds were cut.  Along with putting up a sign to let the builders know they were on the right piece of land! Just in case!



Thanks to JB for letting us borrow the mower I was off, mowing the grass and weeds, have to admit there were lots of weeds!  That better not be a sign of whats to come.


 Whilst I was working hard pacing up and down, Lou was in charge of taking the photo's... some of which you can see in this post, along with a picture of the drive as it is today.. another piece of advice was take a picture of the driveway, just in case its damaged we can prove it was in one piece before the builders move in.



 So from now on, we will be making weekly trips to check the progress which we will be sharing with you, as we take you along with us on our journey of building a house.  Enjoy.

    In the picture of mowing the lawns, the slab in the background is actually Janine's, you guys are across the road from eachother, your very lucky Janine is lovely!!

    Welcome to the avenue!!
    We're also building in the estate but right over the other side in stage 11. You're so lucky to be across the road from Janine. She's a great person to know and kind of like a sister to me already.
